Default HELP...CIVIC JUMPING

I have a 96 Honda Civic EX
When I got in my car to start it this morning, the RPM went in between 2 and 3 and stayed there. The RPM is ususally around 1. And lately, when I am driving, my car jumps a lot when I put pressure in the gap pedal. I move into 1st, put pressure on the gas and ease off of the clutch, and my car jumps and it does that with every gear. Can somebody please help me and let me know what kind of problem this is and how much it would be to fix?

a vacume leak is pretty self explanitory, its where you intake manifold vacume, has a leak... air gets in where it isn't supposed to, as far as how much it is to fix it, that depends on where the leak is comming from
