Car thefts strike again. My poor 95 EX is gone.
Not really an exciting or technical post but I really don’t know what to do at this point. The obvious legal steps have already been taken care of. I was pretty certain that all my solenoid activated entry points were security enough. Battery backup alarm with battery backup sirens and a remote activated hood lock didn’t seem to slow this particular garbage down very much. Just thought I would post.

sucks dude... so many stolen civics on here lately, its unbeleivable. hope you find it in one peice, or at least your motor...
The car wasn’t boosted yet, although the greddy manifold and cast portion of the down pipe were in the trunk. Both pieces were port matched.
The SOBs got into the trunk, they destroyed the trunk latch, as it was locked, and left the trim pieces in the bushes.
I doubt it will be recovered, let alone in one piece.

Not to steal a thread but, I was wondering does anyone know of any civics getting stolen near the Virginia Beach area? I'm going out that way to visit my sister and wondering whether to drive the civic or just leave it at home. Definately would be severly pissed if it came up stolen.
sorry to hear that your coupe is gone. i know how you feel, i had my 94 ex stolen 3 years ago in front my high school when i first bought it. i had just put tints, an alarm, and a nice set of enkei rims on it. it broke my heart when i went outside and didn't find it at the spot i parked it at. it really does suck when you work for sooo long at minimum wage and finally get something nice for yourself, all that hard work just goes down the drain. but when the police found my car it was behind a church in the slums, w/ just my rims and my cassete cd player missing and a few broken studs. best of luck to you bro, i feel your pain, hope everything turns out well.
