high iddle?

Default high iddle?

well my car iddles high, after making the conversin from a dpfi to mpfi, it seems like theres a vacuum line not connected, but from what ive done, i think ive connected all of them. dont know what could be wrong, its a 1990 hacthback w/ dx engine. llet me know what i can do, thanks.

1) Did you use all new gaskets?
1a) Were all gasket mating surfaces clean?
2) Did you adjust the IDLE adjustment screw?
3) TPS functioning properly?

1) yes
1a)should have been because i sroped it right in. but i didnt go over them.
2)where is the idle adjustment screw located, any pics???
3)how can i find out if the tps sensor is working properly?

is the idle adjusting screw simply the bolts on the dizzy?? if not, what is it, i cant really tell which screws those are... thanks thought those diagrams help me out. oh and one more thing, how do i check voltage on the 3P connector?? is it some special tool? thanks

I had the same problem with my '91 CRX Si. A family friend checked it out for me, and it ended up being the intake manifold gasket.

was it leaking?? yea they told me to spray any sort of gas over the intake manifold and the head where it meets, and if the idle changed, then it meant it was leaking air, i tried it but nothing happened, but i thinki still might attempt to change the intake manifold gasket just to see if thats whats wrong. thanks, anyone else got any other suggestions, thanks in advance.

yeah, it was leaking, so i had the guy replace it. perfect idle now.
