Default How about a Clutch and flywheel !

JUUUST ...........GREAT !

Now my clutch is starting to slip in my 94 Del SOl Vtec Dohc.

How hard is it to replace clutch ?

Also, Is it worth getting a lighter flywheel for performance and mileage upgrade ?

Recommendations on brands of clutches and flywheels ?

Flywheel is definately worth it.. my clutch jobs can be usually done in 3 hours or less with a friend around.

Flywheel is worth it, might as well while you're in there if you have the extra $$$ to do it. Clutches aren't that hard to change, just have to have some time. For a first timer, give yourself the better part of a day just so that when something doesn't go as planned, you have the extra time to compensate for it. I could do it in roughly 3-4 hours too, but I couldn't have my first time.

Look at ACT clutches, people seem to be pretty happy with them. Just remember, don't get anything too aggressive you won't want to drive with everyday if this is your DD.

If you end up not getting a new flywheel - make sure to re-surface the flywheel in there.

Remove transmission bellhousing (axles, shift linkage, etc.), undo pressure plate-to-flywheel bolts in a crisscross pattern in three stages, undo flywheel bolts in the same manner. Reverse process with new ****.

need a 12-point 10mm and a 12-point 19mm or 17mm for the flywheel bolts (I can't remember which)
