ive had my 00 civic si for like a year now... and been having a oil problem.. ever since i bought the car its been burning oil.. ive done a compression test on it and it all checked out... also i took out the pcv valve and it was done for.. so i replaced it... but still im burining it.. im guessing my problem might be my valve seals.. but enuff for a quart of oil a week?.. ruffly 400 miles a week.. ne suggestions?

Have a leak down test done. It could be several different things. Bad rings, valve seals, etc.

When your PCV system clogged it pur crazy pressure on your seals. Check your crank seal(rear main seal), spark plug seals, valve cover gasket, etc... Just replacing your PCV valve won't fix it, you should clean out the spot where it connects at as well as the tube running to it and then before that, with intake cleaner. That should help shed some light, if not I tried, good luck cuz.
Or is it, you love VTEC that much? j/j

as said above,a leakdown test should help pinpoint any consumption problem.
also don't forget to check for leaks.is there oil visible anywhwere on the outside of the engine?specifically around the oil pan?
