Default launching turbo civic

hi i have been a member for a while and been posting at a few forms and i was woundering, because you have more members than most civic/honda forms maybe someone could give me a good RPM launch on a turbo SI with the greddy 18g kit on it. thanks

Go to the track and test it out i launch at 6k.

6k are you serious, if i launch on the streets at anything above 2500 rpm its all tire spin, but i guess i'll have to try. anyone else???

low compression anything less the turbo will fall on its face

yes its a 99 SI
i have no suspension upgrades
no LSD
i was able to drive the hell out of it before the turbo was on but just cant seem to get the launch down.

Dump the clutch at 1200rpm or so... This is what I had to do on street tires.

Next time post stuff like this in the Drag Racing board, you'll get a lot more replies...

Invest in some slicks, infact; I think there's a sale going on in the Sponsors Performance thread. I stick with Falken Azenis for the the street, they just need to be heated up alittle to get traction. After heating them I usually can stick at 4200 and not bog off the line.
