Default CLutch Gone??!!!

I think my clutch is gone i try to start my car and i have to put sooooo much pressure on it like against the floor just to get it started and i have to do that about 7 times before it works and i have to hold it if i move a little it wont even try to turn over.im not positive but i think its gone....if so im gonna go ahead and get a new tranny, clutch, and flywheel.(i have a shitty 4spd still)

isn't there a switch on the end of the pedal that allows the car to start...

like when the clutch is not in it won't start, but once the clutch is pressed it completes the circuit and allows the car to start.

once the car is started can you go through the gears okay? is the clutch slipping?

more info about while the car is running....

If you have to give excess pressure while starting, go and check your actual assembly. I had this same problem in December and it turned out I had actually broken the clutch pedal where it pivots

If this is true, what exactally would I be trying to check? Is it a sensor, cable, switch? How can I tell it is bad, or needs to be replaced?

look at your actual clutch pedal assembly check the rod that goes from the break pedal to the clutch pedal. Its a shitty rod that is spot welded and always breaks. I have broken 2 clutch pedal assemblys and if this is your problem i would highly sugest replacing the cable as well cause i stretched mine by adjusting it everytime my car wouldn't start

LMFAO!!!! this is the exact problem, Clutch peddle assembly. I have been doing the tightening trick to it everytime, and im sure its fucked now....did it feel like your car shifted into gears, almost better when u tightened your clutch cable? and did it get worse and worse til it just wouldnt work anymore?

if you get another stock one have it welded up because it will just break again... its a nightmare to take them out.... i would take your seat out its easier to lay under the dash that way.. you have to drop the stearing colum and make sure you get the very top bolt under the air ducting...

What happens, nothing
