From the sound of it, get a Helms manual.

To get any power out of those cams on a B16A, you'll definitely need to get adjustable cams and get it tuned.

Honestly seeing as your a DOHC if you dont know what your doing dont do it at all, until you get a good manual from somewhere. Its real easy to mess this up.

Also if you dont have air then those cam gears are going to be fun to take off.

yeah from the sounds of it, it doesnt sound like your ready to take this on yet. if your timing is off by even one tooth it could be bad news for you. but if you do decide to do this yourself i would make sure you have the helms manual, air gun shims, tourqe wrench, and make sure the motor is cold. and just to save on labor i would get the gears now so you dont have to do this all over again. but good luck!

b series adjustable cam gears are the same, at least for the vtec's. i would triple check on this though, because if your timing is off, byebye valves

Word. DO NOT DO THIS UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE GETTING YOURSELF INTO. It's much easier to mess up than you think. Make sure you get the proper tools, manual, and have someone there who has done it before. Good luck.
