Has anyone actually found something that works, quickly? I've tried Turtle Wax Bug remover (green spray bottle), which by the way kicks serious *** on bugs with minimal scrubbing, and various other bug "removers" that don't live up to their marketing claims.
TIA,
Matt

When I go to the roadcourses I alwasy get the melted rubber chunks of tire kicked up from the cars in front of me that leave nice black streaks everywhere.
I use Goo Gone and some light rubbing, and then I wash the car after to make sure all the goo gone is off. Nothing else I've used has been able to get them off.

Try a clay bar by Mother's or Meguiers.
You can also try polishing wax or polishing compound.
I find the light ones usually come off with just a wash, the more serious hits actually scuff and scratch the paint. I have a rather large one on the drivers side of my front lip from like 3 years ago that just won't come out with whatever I try. I figure I'll repaint eventually so I don't worry much.
The worst marks are from the track though. I have dents, scratches and pitted holes in my hood from rocks, debris, marbles & whatnot that is flying at me at whatever MPH and has nowhere to go.

My caR too
But spray your front end with WD40 before going out and have less to clean later

I use 3M Machine Polish for tire rubber streaks.
I've never had to remove cone from my bumper...all the cones I hit just end up cracking my lip more and more

Anybody try Rain-X on their car (not just on windshield) as a preventative measure? As for removing autox and track markings, there is a driver at Ferrari Club of America events in the Northeast who would wipe-off tire-snot markings off his cars with Windex. This was before the movie "My favorite Greek Wedding" and no he is not Greek
soft scrub (watered down) and light pressure with a rag, works for me.
it will take the wax and tire marks off and will remove paint if you push hard.
use caution.

Clay bar works wonders for me
You can prevent tons of cone marks w/this $5 DIY bra

You can pick up the green tape shown on my car, from most automotive body work supply shops ~$5/roll.. and leaves no adhesive residue behind.. unless it gets wet
