Default Launch control question.

There are some simple ways how to DIY launch control. Or this function only in advanced management units?

Thanks

Yeah. Chip your ECU. Buy a burner. Navigate to http://www.pgmfi.org. Learn. Empower yourself.

If you had seriously spent any time learning the software, you would have figured this out by now. Look for the "Add extra features" plug in on pgmfi.org. Use it on a P28/P30 based rom. Go to the option tab in Crome, tell me what you see at the bottom.

Now go register Crome.

Of course not. You don't add the java script file, you add the .CPF file.

You have to download the whole file and then extract it. I know there is a CPF file in there, I am looking at it now.

How I understand this extra features will work all the time? I mean, i'm driving with crome bin every day. So, when go to race I need to connect with ECU and resave my bin with this plugin?

Dude. No. Install the plug in, set the launch control where you want. Make the chip. Leave it in, drive around. its not going to do jack until the car is at a stop, then it lowers the rev limiter. Simple as that. There is no need to have multiple chips.

So, it it works only when car stop.

The car is stopped, I'm pushing clutch pedal then shift 1 gear. Push on accelerator. Then revs will hit till my LC rev value. OK?

Yep! Simple!

Yeah, thats how it works. Its not going to hurt anything to leave it on the chip.

I'm doing everything on this NA B20VTEC(stock) hatch:

Last Saturday we did 10.383 for 200m (half of 1/4 mile)
Without slicks, LSD, stock clutch disk and no FTL or FTS. Just P30 ecu chiped with B18C1. I'm going to order R-500 PLX, they still not sell them, only preorders sell out.

So, waiting. Next competitiont at 15 of may.

10.3 in the 1/8th mile? Is the elevation up there horrible or something? I run 9 flat in the 1/8th on my old setup and thats nothing special.

Jep! There are only 10 degrees (Celsius) outside. And we run with old Fulda tires.

We are going to use Bridgestone slicks. Is 225/50/R50 not be too big? I can get them new by good price. Clutchnet ceramic disk plate. And FTL with FTS.
