Ok....first of all what CR will I get with civic type R pistons on my b18c5 and the other question is will there be a big difference in getting the overbore over the standard bore???

I'm lookin for about 12.2:1 CR and civic type R are supposed to be about that and with less than 220whp cast pistons should be fine...and inlinefour are having a sale on them bad boys like 260 w/pins and rings

 

I always thought CTR pistons were 12:1 compression... Not sure though.

 

well, i'll be like everyone else and say it, you should use the search button, it comes in handy but anyhow, i thought putting in ctr pistions in a b18c5 would make your CR around 12.5:1 but since bojangz(pretty sure thats his name, its on the website addy) had this nifty thing http://www.bojangz.com/calculator/ it came out to around 12:1 CR so check it out, its pretty accurate and i give kudos to bojangz for coming up with it

 

Now that is a cool *** website.....well I figured out with CTR pistons stock bore and the head milled 20 thousandths id be right where I want to be
