Default Head Unit for Home Use

This is kind of a weird question, but I was wondering if it's possible to hook up a head unit to play in your house. I mean, I figure you need some sort of transformer, but what specifically do you need to do?

You need a high amperage 12V transformer. I recommend radioshack part #220-0510.

Hook the power from the transformer to the HU.
