Default Uninstalling the system

Hi guys

Im unistalling the system in my girl's car cause she's trading in her car. I know I have to disconnect the battery etc, pull head unit , pull amp , pull capacitor etc. My question is someone told me that I need to properly discharge the capacitor so I dont mess it up. How do I do that? I dont want to take a screwdriver and short it out... hehe

rockford caps come with a thing that discharges them, but its a one time use, and usually used to charge them up and is disgarded when used.

you can use a resistor or a lightbulb to discharge it.
