91' DX Hatch

I've got a 1991 DX Hatchback, 4-speed, completely stock. A while ago the car was having problems running and was leaking gas. I replaced the fuel lines behind the drivers side rear wheel and fixed the leak. I also replaced the fuel filter and checked the rotor, cap, and plugs. Now the car will start and idle excellent for as long as I will let it, but after it's driven for about 15-20 min it will die under acceleration at any speed. When I start it back up, it idles perfect, but if I rev it up quickly it will studder and die. However, if I open the throttle slowly, it will rev up to high rpms no prob. No CEL at all either. Was thinking maybe fuel pressure regulator or something. If anyone has a good idea of what is going on, I would really appreciate some help. Thanks

Yeah, I checked all the basic ignition components and it has a full tank of gas. We have tested the car several times in all types of weather and it always does the exact same thing. Runs great for a little while and then has trouble accelerating. Anyone else?
I have an ef hatch, ive also been having this problem. i had a new ECU put in and it worked great for about a day. the next dayit was having the same problem. the guy i took it to said to take it to the dealer cause he didn't even know....

I'm pretty sure it's a DX. It's actually not my car, it's my dad's and he has been getting on my case to fix the thing because he thinks I am some master mechanic. I can usually figure out what is wrong with a car, but this is not anything I have heard of before. If I had the proper diagnosis tools I could prob narrow it down, but I'm broke and he doesn't want to invest any more money than is absolutely necessary.
