Default Is this part common on s b18c1?

Okay right now I'm building a poor mans type-r and got the block and head back together but I saw this on the b18c1 block....

but on the old b16 block there's is none, actually I've never seen it on a honda motor before. This is the difference between the b16 and b18c1 coolant bracket...

see how the gsr one has the fittings to plug up to the oil cooler thingie?

Now would it matter if I used it or not?

I know that if I don't use it then I would have to get the oil filter stud and have to plug this coolant fittings.

It's an oil cooler. You COULD go without it, but why?

Yep oil cooler, for the bracket just use the GSR one since your using the GSR block.
