Default Strut bar

Hello my honda freaks well i have a quick question im thinking about buying a strut bar but dont know which one or what brand i heard that none brand strut bars are as good as the brand name one is this true?

Just about true. Strut bars dont really do anything for you. If you have all 8 or so bars then it would give you better handling but 1 or 2 wont.

i would just get the 99-00 SI strut bar. and what he^^ said except one on the front will make you need to adjust your driving habits in turns a bit

Comptech makes awesome strut bars! Got one from my Comptech Sport buddy from Sac for dirt cheap, 1/8 the retail price .

Get one from Ebay. Don't listen to all the Ebay haters on here, it's just a piece of metal that does the exact same thing as all the others, for much less money too.

carbing are awesome, but i just got an ebay one, they all do the same thing, onyl thing i dont like about ebay strut bars are that they are chrome 90% of the time so i painted mine:

name brand will only get you a good resale value

ebay will get you next to nothing in resale (generally speaking)

both do basically the same thing, and were not on a race team so both will suit us all fine.

get the name brand if you want to get most of your moneyback in a resale if you change cars, get in a wreck etc...

and get the ebay stuff if you just want something to work NOW and not worried about selling it later on.

oh and if you want a good front bar i have a carbing check my sig.

i suggest jdmshit.com they have upper front and rear teg type r style strut bars both for 70. i have it and the quality is awesome, the only thing that seems to seperate from a type r is the sticker

A swaybar is the bar that connects to the lower control arms. A strut bar is the bar that connects the top of the shock towers to each other, as seen in the pics above.
