Searched, but could not find really what I am looking for. I really have no idea what options there are as far as tuning. The only one I am familiar with is Hondata because a buddy had the turbo set-up. What are my options if I want to keep my stock jdm P30 (don't really feel like buying expensive *** Hondata ecu) and mod it? How do the other brands like Crome and Uberdata work? So far I am running a jdm obd1 B16A with j's racing copy intake, maxbore 64mm TB, aebs IM, megan 4-1, catco cat, and greddy 2.5" cat-back. Also would like to upgrade cams to CTR's or stage 1's sometime. Any help is appreciated.
there isn't really any reason to tune man. I'd say wait until you get different cams to tune.
Crome and uberdata are programs used to burn a custom chip, a good choice and much cheaper than hondata b/c you don't have to buy any unit like you do with hondata. Theres also the option of gettin a vafc to tune with. But either way make sure to get some adjustable cam gears to really dial in, which ever cams you choose, on the dyno.
