Looking Into an 82mm Bore for my stock sleeved B18B1 Motor for Turbo. Can This Be Done Safely???????

Default Looking Into an 82mm Bore for my stock sleeved B18B1 Motor for Turbo. Can This Be Done Safely???????

came across a good deal on some 82mm pistons fo rmy car, but i am not sure if i used a block guard would it hold ok? i tried searching, and didnt find anything..

i think 82mm on stock sleeves is pushing it. especially with boost.

i know there are some N/A setups running 82mm....but for boost.......i dont know how it will hold up......

Some blocks barely make 82 and others that have had core shifts, break thru the cylinder wall when being bored. Not a great idea unless you feel lucky.

I believe the biggest your suppose to go is 81.5mm which I believe is 0.20 over.
