Default ft lbs to in lbs conversion

what is the conversion factor? like 1ft lb = X in lbs........


would you just multiply it by 12in/1ft?

to convert ft lbs to in lbs, multiply by 12. Not 12in/1ft because that's 1/1. Coefficients don't have units on them.

multiplying 12/1 is same as multiplying by 12... as it is 12in per 1ft, and the ft cancels out and leaves you with inch lbs...just wanted to make sure no other conversions in the measurements were needed...thanks
