Question about Valvetrain?
For starters this is what i am running
D16y8
Hondata s200 w boost
precesion SC50
Bottom End:
Turbo SRP pistons
Eagle Rods
Head:
Comp Cam 59300
Boosted on 9lbs, stock redline
I was inspecting my head today and i noticed that my springs on the intake side were turning red. Is this a problem? Is there potential for them to break? Or is this normal wear?
I was just wondering if i should be replacing my Valvetrain?
Thanks
Chris

I dont know about the red, but I would definitely recommend doing you valve train as soon as you have the money for it.
My friend's motor was running strong for awhile on (GSR on stock internals) and one day a retainer decided to give, and a valve dropped into the bottom and just tore everything apart.
