are JDM/EDM headlamps better than USDM???
Asking because if the internal reflectors are better, and focus light better, then I will get a set. I'm not buying them 'just because they are JDM parts'. I want something functional and better than the USDM stockers. I'm not going to crack them open and put in projectors/HIDS, I just want better stock housings. If you know where to find them, thats a bonus too.
Also, what headlight bulbs would you recommend? TIA!
edit-obviously they are for the 95 vx

jdm = plastic (a lot lighter)
usdm = glass
if you go with the jdm headlamps, you will need new bulbs because the housing's different (it's for h4h bulbs). i actually have a set for sale that were modified by a previous owner so it can take the regular hb4 bulbs that usdm civics have (previous owner did it).
as for reflection, etc. the usdm ones i would think are better because they're made of glass. and for bulbs...if you go with hb4's, save your money and get some sylvania silverstars. and h4h...um go with raybrig *shrug*

lol you gotta be kidding me..... if you wanna be "lighter" you can ditch your floor mats too!
The glass in USDM lights tends NOT to fade, but will be subject to pitting and cracking. JDM plastic won't crack as easily, but will fade/yellow.
JDM lights are meant for RHD, so the beam pattern is wrong for US roads and obviously aren't legal (but who can tell anyway?). Also JDM headlights take H4H bulbs, which aren't readily available in the US. You could mod regular h4's to fit, but why even bother?
I've never actually seen the output of EDM EG lights, but if they're like ALL other EDM lights, they should outshine their USDM counterparts AND have better cut-offs....
