what parts (gaskets etc) are needed for an engine build.
i'm a firm believer that you should start with the end in mind. So the finished product will be.
f22a motor
-stock (iron) block
-shot-peened, cryo'd H23 rods
-forged pistons.
f22a head
-ported
-rebuilt
This motor is going to be built for boost, and since i've never built a motor before i just need a heads up on all the little parts that I haven't thought about. Thanks

building for boost means you need aftermarket rods too. Stock H23's will most likely give. But then again, what HP numbers are you searching for?

This is all I had to order and still ordering, Starting from the bottom.
oil pan gasket
oil pump strainer gasket
oil pump
rear seal(by flywheel)
o-ring for breather chamber
o-rings for connecting pipe
oil pump o-ring
crank bolt
water pump gasket
(sure that their is more but im a little flustered now)
intake and exhaust orifice o-rings
o-ring that goes under the 3rd cam cap
cam seal
cam seals that go behind the cam gears
exhaust and intake gasket
You probable get my point their is alot of **** inolved when re-building a motor, especially when doing it right the first time.. their are more parts to list but I don't have that much time tonight but I can provide you with a website that can and will help you with all the parts you need http://www.slhondaparts.com/ thumbup:
