Well, after reading millions of threads on valve cover bolts being snapped, i still managed to do it. It was only way up top at the first set of threads so the hex base is still there right on the head. Went and got a new stud and nut ($9.50 ) from the Honda dealer and am having a hard time getting the stud out from the head. I'm to the point where the hex base is just about completely stripped from the wrench. Any suggestions on getting this out?

 

take valve cover off and use some vice grips
