Don't buy off-the-shelf octane booster.

Make your own:

MAM sells Sunoco 94 and 100 octane at the place.

Looks like 92 octane is common in the area, at least sold by Amoco. Google failed me.

I've typically seen it for $5-$8 per gallon. I'd expect about that.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the 94 octane for $3.50 or so. You know, a captive audience helps demand.

That's why I mix my own (see links).

Maybe someone more local can give a better report?

i think if you actually go into the town of pacific junction you can find a place with 93 iirc. careful what pump you use at the local BP, last time i was there they had 90, 91, and 92 all priced the same but at different pumps. if you can handle ethanol, and don't need 93, you can get 90 or 91 cheaper than 87 in iowa because of the local corn farmers.

You have to find a BP to get 92 in Omaha, Council Bluffs, or Pacific Junction/Glenwood (where the track is). The track itself has gas but it's not cheap. Sunoco 94, 100, and 100+ something like that.
