is it possible to put a vtech head on a 1.5 mpfi

Yes, you can place a VTEC cylinder head onto a D15 non-VTEC block. It's called a "Mini-Me". If you Search, you will find a thread created by BauleyCivic entitled, "How-To: Mini Me". It's under the Archives.

Bauley is very thorough in his write-up, with that, you should be able to do it. and make sure if ur car is OBD 1, then go with an OBD 1 cylinder head, and if your car is OBD 2, then go with the OBD 2 cylinder head...or better yet.... b7 black with z6 head, or a y7 block with a y8 head

I realize that and I just don't get it. If everyone were jumping off of a cliff because it was in Japan..would everyone else do it? Why not just do what you like, not becasue everyone else likes it. To bandwagon jumper: you have minds of your own, use them for something other than figuring which bandwagon you wanna jump on next
