does the jdm d15b vtec have this part?

I'm trying to see if the d15b vtec has this because on my block I don't know if it's a thing where I connect a tube to. In the pic, mine does not stick out far enough where I can connect a tube to it. Can it just be broken or is it not used?

those are coolant hoses and do it just as your old motor but either loop them or block them off with vacumm caps and some worm gears

The d15 does not have those ports. Or you can simply swap the tubes out easy enough</TD></TR></TABLE> I hate to be the bearer of bad news but your somewhat wrong. Every and I mean EVERY honda has the IACV you mentioned. The tube actually goes to the FITV (Fast Idle Thermo Valve) It is a USDM obd1 thing. Prevents high or spurratic idle when the engine is cold.

this is from a 00 b16

if you unscrew the two phillips screws and take off the nubs you'll have nearly every JDM version

It has one with only one port... When I swapped my d15b in to replace my z6 I just used the one off of the z6 as well as the z6 intake mani... Now it's all good!

I swapped the old d15b intake manifold out and put my z6 manifold in(for smog reasons). the first pic above that i circled shows that i dont have this nipple on the pipe. is there a way that i can go around this without swapping in another pipe from another motor?

some have that nipple some dont
my last d15b did not, my current one does..
I see no need for it though, and mine is currently plugged off..
on other honda engines it runs coolant to an oil cooler

thx for that reply. i needed to read something where i didnt have to spend money. so how would i go on and connect the nipple from the fitv?
