Default D15b2 messed up?

will a d15b2's valves hit the pistons if the timing belt breaks? my 91 has a broken timing belt i have a d16a6 ripped apart ready to be put back together and swap in but my lazyness is getting the better of me i figure if the valves arent bent ill just put a new belt on it

I would think if the timing belt breaks on pretty much any honda motor it has a significant chance of bending the valves.

if you need it running right away put the a6 head on the b2. you probably bent the valves.

Just take the head off and check if the valves are bent. If they are, just put an SI (D16A6) head on it.
