CAM COVER ON A STOCK GSR MOTOR
Is it ok to run a stock gsr motor with one of the cam cover bolts missing? Actually its not missing i over torqued it and ended up breaking the bolt so the thread part is stuck inside. I might have to get an easy out drill to remove it.
Are you talking about the valve cover or the plastic timing belt cover on the side? Or are you actually talking about the bolts that hold the cam journals(i think they are called)? If it is a cam journal then definately no. If it is the plastic timing cover on the side, I have never even had one, you will be fine, they just keep crap out of the timing belt. If it is the valve cover then you may be okay but you will probably leak oil out of the valve cover gasket.

Yeah i'am talking about the bolts that hold the cam journals and has a cam cover or plate on top of it. Why can't i use an easy out kit to remove the broken bolt?
