Need help with identifying roll bar.
I have a 92 hatch and I want a single bar that goes behind the front seats. I've seen it before but don't know where to find it. All I know is it was a single bar that went from the driver's side wall to the passenger's wall so when I get the racing seat belts they don't have to extend all the way to the floor in the back b/c the bar is right behind me.
Can anyone help??? Not a full roll bar or cage I just want a SINGLE bar the goes right behind both front seats.
Thanx for any help.

Why get the hole bar????
Why get the hole bar????
You are talking about the bar that holds your harnesses right? Its the only single bar I know of, unless you are referring to the a strut bar style bar that connects where the rear seatbelts go.
for that bar. If it is the one that your harnesses connect to, just imagine what would happen if your car did roll, or if say you got t boned in the rear of the car. This would pull the bar away from the seats, and try to pull your *** right through them. If you are going to attach a harness to anything, you need to make sure that it is a VERY solid bar that does not have any weak points all the way to the frame.

I think this is what he is talking about http://www.sparcousa.com/harness_bars.asp If so it is def not safe to have people in the back of the car when in use
That's the bar I'm talking about too. I would feel more comfortable rolling a car with stock seatbelts than with a 5 point harness attached to that bar.

Nobody plans to roll their car.
If your not running your car hard enough on the track to chance rolling it, then you don't need a 4 or 5 point harness.
If your running a 4 or 5 point harness without a full roll bar or cage, then, well, thats pretty stupid.
Ask any other guys in the racing forum and they'll give you an earfull.
