cant fix code 10?

Default cant fix code 10?

i recently baught a 94 EG dx. it has a swapped d16y6 out of a 95 del sol. the problem im having is that its throwing code ten(intake air temperature sensor). whats weird is the intake manifold has no plug for one. is there nething i can do to fix this? do i need a new intake manifold or what do i need to do? thanks guys

if it is obd1 or obd0 there should be a white plug on the intake, if not you may be able to run the wires to your cold air or short ram and use an obd2 IAT sensor.

do i need the whole sensor? cause theres no plug on the intake, just a hole for what i would assume would be where the plug should be. how would i tell if its obd1 or obd0. im still learnin thanks for the input tho

isnt the intake sensor only on obd2 cars????? What ecu do u have, is it the ecu from the del sol??

TRY UNPLUGGING THE BATTERY N ECU FOR 20 MIN, THIS SHOULD RESET IT!!!

If there is a hole where one should be then goto a junk yard, get it, and wire it up. Or am I miss understanding something?

well theres no plug coming out of the wiring harness for it. i dunno where to splice it into either. im using a p28 ecu. im pretty sure thats what it was.

so there is a hole there? car should be running really shitty without it. Do you know what a IAT sensor looks like?

yea it doesnt run to great. i actually found the sensor and its plugged in. dunno y i missed it before. anyone know what other reason it could be? should i replace the sensor?

I found out that the TA sensor is causing the problem but my TA sensor conniction was covered with some kind of glue WTF???

Did you have problems when you start in 1st & 2nd gear because my acceleration is very crappy when I start out but it runs fine when I shift to 3rd, 4th, and 5th.
