does anyone have pictures of the throttle cable on a jdm b16a sir2 in a CX

i think im suppose to make a custom bracket but i cant find any pictures of them on the forum(just bunch of big X)

I needed these parts too...so I went to my local acura dealer and purchased the bracket for 6 dollars and the throttle cable for 13.00...try the dealer

 

which cable did you buy

are there any honda bracket i can use

the acura dealer is far away

i doubt the honda dealer will carry the itr parts

 

yeah just go to the honda dealer and get a b16 throttle cable and b16 throttle cable bracket from a 2000 si

 

Use your cx throttle cable, thats what I did. I'm running a B16a2 in a 2000 cx and it works fine.

i ghetto rigged one right now with my cx one

i placed it upside down
when i step on the gas and let go it makes a grinding sound
what caues that?

same here , looks much cleaner

 

Just go get a 94-00 Integra throttle cable and all your problems will be solved...I know because i'm using one...

 

the throttle cable isnt' the problem, its the bracket you should be concerned about.

if your any bit of a fabricator, you could bend a peice of metal, and dremel out a slot for the cable to fit in, and drill 2 holes in the plate, and you have a home made throttle cable.. its just the P73 braket looks soo nice.

the only differance in the D and B seires throttle cables (LS, GSR, ITR) is the length. i belive all b series cables are shorter.. is the SOHC's that are so damn long.

 

USed a 94 DelSol vtec cable, and it fit fine.
