does anyone have any DIY blackout headlight pics on an ep3? and how is it that u can get them to come out looking clean and OEM-ish?

 

you just have to take your time and be careful. it's not that hard, just time consuming.

those things were a total bitch to do cause i had problems with the paint and i did it with no sleep from the night before...but anyways they came out really nice but my headlight collects moisture now and i have to go back and seal it up better. This just started happening like two weeks ago after i did the job two months ago





IMO the aftermarket, JDM, or whatever blacked-out headlights look better after looking at my friend's but if you are poor this is the best way

 

well they look real good. thanks for the pic posts. il probably just buy some black housings cuz the JDM ones are like 400 and i dont wanna spend that much on headlights. i can get hondata with that money

they look the same?? hmm, maybe i should do this instead of buying the black housing ones off ebay! i have a black on black crx si..its black, black tint(smokey on driver/pass side and windsheild) black windsheild tint strip, black team dynamic racing wheels, black wilwood calipers this thing is flat out from an african tribe black! i want to get an rsx type s and do the same thing and i guess this smoking thing would be nice too! what about that spray stuff? i did it to my crx and its really clean smokey looking but onces its on that **** dont come off. what about it on the headlights tho??

i seen a celica gts with the tint out tail lights yesterday EVERYTHING was black too omg it was so mean looking, gotta love black its real intimidating
