how to find vacuum leak?
i suspect i have a vacuum leak that runs my motor like ****. i was thinking of shotting the suspected area with break cleaner and see if it sucks. the leak im thinking about is between the hondata intake maifold gasket and either the head or the intake side. what should i spray there?
brake cleaner...oh god..i think that would do harm. You can spray water on it since you won't suck in enough water to cause hydro lock or anything like that. I'm not sure, but I don't think brake cleaner is a good idea
i really wanna stay away from water...anyone else? how do u guys find leaks? i hear noise of air sucking but i cant pin point it.

why? people run water injection all the time here. You really need a crap load of water to do any damage.

i use carb cleaner to find vaccum leaks. What I do is let the car idle and spray carb cleaner over all vaccum lines, throttle body and intake manifold. When spray were the leak is the idle will go down to were it should be. CARB CLEANER WILL NO HARM THE MOTOR. when you find the leak replace the gasket or line where the leak is.
