a lot of them are like that, mine was like that...you could use hood pins to even it out or you could just put something underneath the side that goes down too much...i did it with my cf hood and **** looks good now, only i knew about its past, untill now...

putting any hole in a cf hood is dangerous...i've never seen it happen but i've been told it can change the color from black to a greenish...i guess if you want to keep the cf hood and you don't want to put holes in it, just put something underneath the hood to prop it up (something small and is kinda soft)...

let me know how it turns out!

one more thing, nothing flamable...

yeah my cousin bought a vis hood, and it was horrible. the alignment was off, and it was even warped. if you can, try to check out the hood before you buy it.

could be a number of things could just be that your radiator support is bent. the part where the hood latches on too

I had to remove a few of those threaded rubber bump stops to get mine lined up.
Still is high on the drivers side when the hood is closed but after a freeway drive it's lined up.

^like this?^
...I just thought the hood joint bent after having it left up for a while when my car was incompacitated. Maybe the rubber stops may work...

You can adjust or remove these to make the hood line up better. Twist left or right to adjust the height.
