short throw shifter

when installing a short throw on a 2000 civic do you have to install short throw adapters as well or can you just put in the shifter itself?

all the shifter does is lower the pivot point. there is no mods to make it work.

If you're talking about what I think you are, the "adapters" are for cars with cable shift linkage (i.e. Accord, Prelude). Cars with rod linkage (i.e. Civic, Integra) use the shifter itself.

if you shift slower than it will not affect your synchros. if you shift like you normally do then say goodbye to them.
