PROBLEM/...A6 SHORT BLOCK Z6 HEAD
DID MY SEARCH BUT COULD NOT FIND ANYTHING ABOUT THIS

a6 block
zc pistons
z6 head
y8 mani
problem is under uphill load and or over 4000 rpm it ping's
timing is retarded all the way.
running 92 octane when possible i run 94
could this be a not enough fuel problem...
i was running 2 layer head gasket so it blew then changed it to 3 layer oem
oh and is there s difference between a6 cam gear and z6 cam gear ...does anyone has pic's of a6 and z6 cam gears...want to know what cam-gear I'm running as well''

i was told it would be at 11:1 or 11:3 with the 2 layer gasket ..but now i'm using 3 layer oem now...that one blew also...so time for another gasket.....
