Default Ebay CAI Induction Kit

I have a 1996 Honda Civic SR Coupe with the D16Y8 VTEC Engine. (Model EJ8)

I have a short ram kit on at the mo with a K&N style filter. I have seen the following CAI intake on eaby and wondered what people think of these?

Here is the link:-

Does it perform better than the Short ram intakes?

Does it sit really low in the bimper area in which case would sucking up water be a problem.

Hope someone has some good advice.

Stu

Alot of your questions can be answered through searching... anyway
Quick answers...

Looks like an okay piece to me.
Short-rams are good for mid-to-top end. generally
CA's are good for low-to-mid power. generally

Yes, CA's can suck-up water, if the filter is totally-submerged at throttle. So if you drive through a deep puddle, take your foot off the gas, and you are golden.
If it really scares you, get a by-pass valve. Hope this helps.
