Default intake question

today i was thinkin of gettin a short ram intake from autozone for 39.99 does anyone have it in there ludes??what do you guys think?

Don't bother. Cheap CAI would be better. Someone on here recently posted that they lost power with the short ram over the stock CAI. I would just remove the resonator and maybe a K&N filter if you don't want to get a CAI

ya i know a cai would be better but its more money and i dont want my enigne to hydro lock. what do you mean stock cai?

search on ebay. they go for about $40 for a cai.

first of all you have 666 posts, that's bad luck. Next, who did you **** off to end up with 91%?

Third, just don't drive through deep water with a CAI. It's not rocket science. If you're that paranoid, get one of the bypass filters.

Why do you think you're gonna hydrolock? Drive through rivers much?

on ebay like the guy says 60 buck with shipping and eveything CAI

then invest one the real K&N later worth it
but the filter you get from the ebay ppl its kewl for a few months then you really want that k&N

I don't know why but I found that really funny.

Just don't take off the fender lining and avoid large pudles and such. You will be okay.

i guess i'll get a CAI if i can find it new and under 50 bucks on ebay

is the K&N really worth th 40 bucks? will a K&N filter fit a CAI?

Thanks guys youve been a lot of help. and will my best bet is to find a generic CAI from ebay?
