b16a3 cutting out after 3500 rpms ? ? ?
My friends got a 94 del sol with the b16a3. We got a new dizzy for it and after installing it the car ran fine. But about three minutes later we would hit 3500 rpms and it wouldnt rev any higher. It sounded like a rev limiter and then we would have to shift. What is that? It never did it with the old distributor. Anything would be helpful.
thanks

Edit: forgot the crank shaft pos. sensor from doing the swap, the harness prong got broke, and it only allowed the car to run up 2400 rpm replaced the harness fixed the prob

The motor is already in the car, and has been, he just replaced the distributor, what does the CKP sensor have anything to do with anything?
