Default Tires for autocrossing

I still have my 14's stock wheels on CRX and I was wondering if 195/60/14 Falken Azenis could be used. Discount tire has them for about $60 a pop. Do not really want to buy new wheels and tires, but should I just save and get 15's. Any ideas would be great.

What class do you want to run in?

What experience do you have?

We need to know these answers first. Also, I suggest searching because otherwise you wont get enough input on the various tires.

I run in the STS class, but my friend said I need to switch over to the STS2 class. I have raced in about 5 or 6 events. So skill level would be mild I guess.

195-60-14 Azenis will be plenty tire for you. Spend the money you save on doing more events.

Were you at the event this past Saturday? Also, what car have you been running in STS that needs to go to ST2?

like i said in another post, azenis in my size are discontinued, and i have done the same amount of events as you, and stumped on a tier to get. I need 205/50/15 and that size is discontinued. I know that the azenis will be perfect, but im debating going hardcore and pick up Advans. Advice and criticism welcomed. Help me decide, im in the same boat you are buddy!

Agent Smith - Just wondering if you still have these for sale and where in FL you are. I'm in Tampa and need something to replace the balding chepo brand tires that are on the Sol right now. I tried to PM you but I "don't have permission" to PM people.
