Default e-brake went out

I left my friends house the other night and my e-brake doesnt work no more. When i pull it up, its really easy.

anyone know how to fix the e-brake?

the handle attatches to two cables, one goes to each caliper/drum in the back, its like a bicycle brake, when u pull it, it closes the caliper/drum w/o brake fluid, so either u need new brake pads, the cables broke, the cables are loose and need to be tightened, look at the back of the hub from under the car and see if the cables are still attached, then look under the armrest/console where the cables meet the ebrake handle, if they are attached then try tightening the bolt by turning it clockwise, if that dont work then come back here...
