Main Relay gone bad?
Ok this is whats going on now... My car will start when it wants to. Took it to a shop becuase i couldnt for the life of me figure out what was wrong with it. First they told me the ignitor was bad, so i changed that, car started up for about 2-3 days then again wouldnt start left it alone for 2 days starts up fine take it back, then i get a code 20, told the ECU was bad because i was throwing a code 20 and had a solid CEL light. SO i get a newer ECU and it starts i turn it off again wont start. Now they say my main relay could be bad. I am getting fuel to the fuel rail, getting spark engine cranks but wont kick over. They say i have no injector pulse. they hooked up straight voltage to the injectors somehow and it kicked over right away. also if i push start it, it will start. Its an h22a in a 92 si. Did the swap back in August, didnt have any problems till about feburary... any ideas would be awesome. thanks sorry so long

sounds like it's the main relay. swap it over and see if it fixes the problem. my car was doing the same exact thing when it was warm outside or I would keep constantly trying to start it. if you do a search, a lot of guys are having this problem.
from what some guys say, it's the soldering that goes bad. expanding and contracting eventually causes the solder to come apart.

ok i put a new Main relay in and it started up just fine.. i thought it was that, now i just went to try to start my car again and i get a solid CEL. When i took it back to the shop they told me that my ecu was not grounding out the injectors. How can i fix it? Can i just ground out the ecu directly through the pinout? This is my third ECU becuase people told me that a solid CEL means a bad ECU. thanks
solid cel means bad ecu..
it also means ecu is messing up somewhere..
check your wires yo!
last time i had a solid cel, one of my o2 wires was hanging and rubbing on my axle.. shorting out fuses.. so yeh..
CHECK your wires.. check voltage.. everything
theres probably a lose connection somewhere when it gets warm it expands.. touching to start.. and when its cold it contracts.. leaving a gap

to my understanding code zero is when you jump the service connector and no check light comes on, thats code zero, but if you jump the connector and the light stays solid, there are no stored codes
you could be grounding out somewhere. you should check your fuses and see, especially the back up fuse in the kick panel. I know for sure if that fuse blows, you'll get a solid CEL. I grounded out my a/f gauge when it wasn't hooked up and it died. checked all my fuses, found out my backup fuse was blown, replaced it, been fine ever since.
