i'm just finsihed my auto to manual on my civic and i was think how the hell are my brake and reverse light gonna work if anyones has a solution let me know thanks

 

You need to run some wires from the sensor on top of the tranny. You will see it because you wont have a plug for it. So, the wires have to go to the green and yellow wires from where the auto shifter used to sit.

 

go to search, click archived content and type in "eg auto manual" and you will get 990 posts on this. it helped me a lot

 

Your brake lights are not affected by this swap at all.

The reverse lights are another story, but most people don't bother with them..

The old write up i found said to run both wires on the tranny straight to the old shifter wiring and clip them on but a friend did it a while ago by just running the missing wire since it already has one coming from the tranny stock. So i'm investigating which wire to plug it into. You can test the directions i have up right now on the Rywire site. look far down the right hand side
