im not the most knowlagable person on ZC's.. but even though the tranny's will bolt up, your going from your OBD1 92-95 chassis, to a OBD0 88-89 engine and chassis. i know a few of your sensors won't change over.

Thats exactly what I have in my car now and it doesnt impress me. I left my DX bottom end and put the 1.5 JDM Vtec Head. The car also was an automatic, converted it to the SI tranny already. The bottom end is old and tierd, blowing some smoke out the back
Its just its time to go to motor heaven I think. LOL

HUM thats a good deal on that site... I wonder if they would just sell me the motor and distributor.
Thanx
What computer do you recomend running with this motor? I have the P28 with a JUN chip. I get about mid 16s out of this motor. Should I be running better? Ive got an SI intake manifold, B16 throttle body, focuz header, hi flow cat, 2 1/4 cat back piping, and the chip (no rev limiter or govenor)... I just feel like I should be running better.

H-Motors is a good site and good people but to be honest with you, you can find that motor for even cheaper than that... I picked mine up for $325. I run my virgin P28 from my si (92) but the correct ecu is a P08 (JDM) and good luck finding one of those... You probably wouldn't pass smog with one anyway. Keep your si intake mani cause you'll need it for all the usdm emissions crap and to pass smog in cali. If you look in the classifieds here alot of people sell them even cheaper than H-Motors but at least H-M has a start up guarantee and their motors are clean. Unless you know and trust the person you are getting the motor from when you buy it here you could end up with someone elses junk.
I dropped a DOHC ZC in my EG6, What I did was look for a GREY PLUG and not a BLUE PLUG.. since the blue plug requires rewiring and its OBD0. Look for a GREY plug and you'll be fine, just reuse your intake manifold and exhaust manifold. I used a 94-96 LS ECU. No check engine lights either. If you have further questions you can e-mail me. I am only 30 min. away from you.

gotta love the internet
FYI the d15b will likely fail smog with the p28 for HC's as it runs extremely rich. If it's all stock intake ect then advance the dizzy as far as it will go and run 91 octane
Advancing the timing will raise combustion chamber temps a bit and the higher octane will keep it from detonating until you've passed smog.
The Nox levels will shoot up a bit but you'll pass
Also for about 400 bux you can get pro street to chip and tune hondata's s100 for your car and you'll get alot better gas mileage and a shitload of low and mid range power back
I recommend if it's just the motor to get them from C&T in ontario

My motor passes smog with the P28 computer. My air/fuel gauge says its running all the way rich too. Weird. I thought my gauge was just wrong.
I found the motor for 250 somthing... but 300 with the dizzy... what the heck is a dizzy and do I need it???? I have NEVER heard of a dizzy LOL
