ok is your zc a true zc and not a integra dohc motor if its a true zc you can use any D series trannys buy if its a integra you have you use a B series tranny so to answer your ? you can use that just make sure the splines are correct is all

I just think its a lil weird a sohc trans. will bolt up correctly to a dohc motor. I didnt know that was ever accepted

ugh you guys search. 1988 d series trannies have 21 spline. 89-95 have 20 splines. 1988-1989 uses a smaller flywheel than 90-2000. as long as you have a true zc any non integra d series tranny will bolt up (from 88-2000). However, you will not be able to use the intermediate shaft from the DOHC ZC tranny on a single slam tranny. you'll have to get single slam d series axles that match your knuckles. assuming you have the DOHC ZC trans currently you will more than likely have the larger axle hubs any ways, so just get dx or si axles. but make sure you take your old axle in with you when buying new ones just to be safe.
