My friend blew his engine and I am trying to get him back on the road but I have some questions about the swap. He has a 97 Civic Ex and plans on using his stock Y8 head with a Z6 block out of a 93 Civic Ex. Basically half OBD1 and half OBD2. What I am trying to figure out is whether the stock engine harness will work on this setup and what addition work has to be done to get it to work correctly. Any help or information would help, I have searched and found some threads but none that are that specific.

Thanks for the help but he found a complete OBD2 engine so this thread is useless.
