i have a 88 crx si with a d16a6 i have a 97 y8 head and a vafc layin around. i was wondering if i need a obd1 conversion harness to use my vafc or can i just okie rig it. also if i didnt want to use my vafc and sell it to my friend could i use my stock ecu or do i HAVE to buy a new one. any help would be good thanks

 

Yes you can hook them up fine. If you sell the VAFC you don't have to get another ecu you can do it with a rpm activated switch, but since you have the VAFC I would just go ahead and use it for tunning purposes.
