Crower Cam d16z6
Does anyone know how to tell if a cam is actually a Crower cam? I bought a motor that was supposed to have a stage 2 crower cam in it. Now, I'm looking to sell the motor and have an interested buyer but he wants to be sure its a crower cam. Can anyone point me in the right direction of what to look for? Thanks for any help.
thanks for the info. Didnt find that marking on the end of the cam. The cam is out of the motor now. Only markings I found were on the cam gear side of the cam. One marking is a "p" and the other is "R1". Anyone have any ideas? THe way the deal went, im guessing its stock.
Whats up man? One way to truely find out is to take it to a machine shop and have them measure the lobe's with a micrometer. The spec's on a Corwer Stage 2 Cam for a z6 is Advertised Duration : 312/318, Duration @ .050" : 234/217, Gross Lift w/1.6 int/1.8 ext : 430/427. Or Advertised Duration : 319/310, Duration @ .050" : 235/223, Gross Lift w/1.6 int/1.8 ext : 432/436.
