Im boosting in 3 weeks and dont really have enough to be buying some new stage2 axles. Im planning on around 300whp after tuning. Im wondering how much whp are you guys runnin on your stock axles, and if you go to the track with it. how is it.

 

300whp should be OK. Limit your launches to when you need them

Hell a 600whp car can do with stock axels, it's really how you launch and if you launch with slicks.

Just use ebrake & preload your clutch, it'll save your axels but your clutch will suffer...

 

well i have pepboys axles in there right now... $99 for 2 new axles with lifetime warentee. cant go wrong. theyll work till i get $$ for stage 2's. i also got prothane poly motor mounts. that should help some

336 whp and no axle issues either with stock axles. I have never launched it hard, all I do is autocross and do track days etc. Drag is teh weaksauce

 

310fwhp and no axle issues, i figured they'd go first but the tranny did, i launch hard lol

i really dont launch well off the line b/c of no lsd. i am running bfg radial tires, which hook up pretty well except for 1st and sometimes 2nd. when i do drive the car, i drive it hard, but only have 28,000 miles on it, only 15 of which were with boost.

same here. I have the bfg kdw-2's also. No lsd, so if I dump the clutch its around 3500-3800. If I feather it, its around 4000. all 23,000+miles have been boosted.

 

I have an 01 itr tranny w/ lsd with 205/50/15 bf goodrich ta drag radials i just dont wana snap
