extending O2 sensor wires
should i use sheilded wires to extend or does it matter? same goes for my knock sensor, but i read u should use sheilded for KS. is this true?
i have an o2 extention from casperelectronics.com that i was going to send back because i have no use for. i haven't even opened it. if you're interested let me know.
my friend made me one from 14 gauge wire, i think 14? and just wrapped it in electrical tape.

i have extended knock and o2 wires without shielding and it was ok on all the cars i used it on. i think 14 may be a little big, if i remember i use 18ga. but you should be ok if you want i know radioshack has 18ga shielded wire.

Neither am I and everything seems fine. It's been like that for 1 year now.
